A young woman and her one-year-old daughter suffered minor injuries after being attacked by the woman's partner in the Buenos Aires suburb of San Francisco Solano. The incident occurred on Saturday at a residence on Dardo Rocha street, 6300, in the Almirante Brown district. The 24-year-old attacker, Agustín Ramos, whose motives are unknown, assaulted 22-year-old Kaira Maqueira. A complaint of gender-based violence has been filed. According to Noticias Argentinas news agency, Ramos used a kitchen knife to cut his partner's lip and face. During the altercation, their daughter also suffered a minor cut to her left cheek. Subsequently, the man also assaulted Maqueira's mother before fleeing. Police are currently conducting an intense search for him.
